The TRF (Trail Riders Fellowship) which was formed in 1970 is a
National Club for all those who wish to ride legal motorcycles on legal
Carriageways. Of course most of the "roads" we ride are not surfaced
and in many cases are not suitable for normal vehicles.
Russel
The TRF has a wealth of experience in researching and preserving
vehicular Rights of Way and the majority of the work done by our
organisation is voluntary. The TRF is the only National organisation
devoted to the interests of “Trail Riders”.
Annual membership gives you access to over 40 area clubs, a
monthly magazine and regular events and organised runs. For
further information visit our main web site at http://trf.org.uk.
Our Group
The East Midlands TRF Group cover Nottinghamshire,
Leicestershire and parts of Derbyshire. We are a very active
group and hold a monthly club meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of every
month at the The
Clock Warehouse, Shardlow, at around 8.00pm.
Washgate Lane Derbyshire
There is a car park next to the pub, the function room is upstairs. Our
meetings consist of a mixture of informative discussion on subjects
such as Rights of Way and current initiatives along with entertaining
events including regular slide/video shows, quiz’s, guest speakers etc.
Each month we arrange a “club run” to various locations, some local,
such as Derbyshire, Notts, Leics and further afield to places like
Yorkshire, Wales, Wiltshire, Lakes etc.
If you haven’t already been to one of our meetings, why not come along
and see for yourself before joining. You will find us very friendly and
welcoming and you will meet many like minded people interested in
similar things to yourself.
To make contact or for more information use the Contact form to get in
touch with either the Chairman, Secretary or runs Co-ordinator.
We look forward to meeting you soon – and better still riding with you
as a fellow member.
